Logan Botanic Gardens
Logan botanic gardens are located 14 miles south of Stranraer. Due to their proximity to the gulf stream and their sheltered aspect the gardens grow many plants which would not normally survive outdoors in Scotland.

The gardens were used as the location of Lord Summerisle's gardens where the Lord provides Sergeant Howie with a history of the island and explains his grandfather's experiments with growing new strains of fruit.
